IVY PITTMAN
Ever since she was a child Ivy Pittman has been addicted to reading. While her earlier ambitions in high school were to become a
lawyer, she later developed a love for writing, which led her to pursue a career in publishing – “any field where I could write and
express myself creatively. I have learned that it is not easy finding a balance between work and creativity that both pays well and
satisfies the inner soul. But it can be found if one is willing to stay on that road.”
Ivy is a native of Montclair, New Jersey and a proud graduate of Tuskegee University. Ivy is a court-appointed special advocate
(CASA) for abused and neglected children. She continues to read her works at local bookstores while working towards the completion
of her novel.
